Recurrent Miscarriage Panel and Testing?
I was curious for those who have had this blood work for the recurrent miscarriage panel & genetic/immune testing, how long it takes to get back your results??
Should I be following up with the Dr, or will they call me when the results are in?
Thanks Girls!!!

Re: Recurrent Miscarriage Panel and Testing?
Mine took about 2 weeks to come in and my doc called when they were in.
Good luck!

Re: Recurrent Miscarriage Panel and Testing?
Hi There,
Mine also took 2 weeks. I had a follow-up appointment so I went in and they gave me the results. Hope everything works out.

I kind of want to look into this.
Did you take any test? Have you started to see a RE?
For me it was a great decision. Dr Braverman has been very reassuring and I just want answers one way or the other. I rather know if it was bad luck or if there is a problem...( i just couldn't go through it again).
Let me know if you have any questions. I am here to answer.

Re: Recurrent Miscarriage Panel and Testing?
My OB ordered the blood work and he said he'd have the results in 2 weeks. My appt is on Monday to go over the results. Even the person at the lab told me it takes some time to get the results because some of the blood has to be frozen before its tested.

I was seeing an RE for PCOS before I got pregnant. I saw him once after the 2nd miscarriage and I have decided not to continue seeing him. I feel that he has not been as thorough as he needed to be and after my surgeries (dermoid cyst removal & ovarian drilling) I got very sick afterwards because of his negligence. And no, he didn't do anything other than a blood test to look at my progesterone after the 2nd m/c.
I plan on seeing Dr Braverman this Spring because of the glowing reviews from so many on this site. I want to wait until after our Honeymoon next month which is another cycle or two for me.
I know it sounds weird but mentally I just cannot deal with doctors right now.

We are still trying but I'm just not ready for more testing and explaining and things of that nature. I think I had hoped that inbetween everything I'd get pregnant and I could go see a new RE and take it from there but we'll see I guess.
We are so excited! We actually leave on our 5 month anniversary even though I didn't realize that until I booked and we will be away for Valentine's Day as well! This has turned into a creative game for DH and I to see how we can surprise each other and be cute! lol we are such geeks! We both need this vacation like it's nobody's business. Him more than me I think. And isn't it awful that I'm looking forward to being out of touch...no calls, no emails...ok I have to check my emails I have a business to run lol but still. The last cruise we went on we were with DH's family and the one before that DH was always on the phone back home because something happened at home but I don't remember what.
We are flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico and then goes to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, St. Croix, U.S.V.I., Basseterre, St. Kitts, St. Johns, Antigua, Castries, St. Lucia, and then back to PR where we're going to stay an extra day at a hotel before flying home. We are so excited! :)
