Red light citation to wrong address
I received a red light citation for the former owner of my house, in the mail today. What do I do with it? Just put it back in my mailbox marked “wrong address” or something like that? I am a little concerned if it doesn’t get to the right person/address there will be a lien on my property sometime down the road

There will not be a lien on your property. The citation is against the person who the car is registered to, not the address.
Write, no such person at this addreess, please forward...on it and put it back on your mailbox.
If their forwarding order is still active, the post office will forward

Red light citation to wrong address
They won’t put a lien on your house for that. All it means is the person stil has their car registration hooked up with your address. Write unknown recipient and put it back in the mail

write RTS on the envelope and write person no longer at address.
RTS = return to sender

And also black out the bar code with a sharpie. It will just keep coming back if you don't. I've had a mail carrier tell me that.
