Red spotting
I am about 6 weeks pregnant and just saw red spotting after I wiped (sorry TMI). I don't have any cramping and I am taking progesterone suppositories so I am just hoping that it is irritation of the cervix.
Do you think this is okay?

Re: Red spotting
You will get many responses on here about this but I have to be honest......go to the ER. M/C mentioned below......
I had 1 VERY small episode of red spotting, after wiping, with no cramping or anything with Skittle at 10w2d. I called the doc and they said to go to the ER. I wasn't worried because I was taking progesterone supps and knew it was a side effect. I had a missed m/c. Even after seeing the hb 3times. EVERY SINGLE time since then, now with Peanut, any kind of spotting I have called and they have been WONDERFUL about understanding my concerns, and getting me in. You need to have piece of mind. Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but my story didn't have a happy ending like so many others. I wish you the best!

I hope everything is okay.
What can they do if you are spotting at the ER? Is this for peace of mind? If it is to be a m/c, there is nothing you can do, right?

Usually they will do a sono to see what is going on.
I had spotting at 5w5d with my first pregnancy. I went to the ER and they did a sono. Luckily we saw the heartbeat and everything turned out fine.
I would call your doctor!

Re: Red spotting
Spotting early on is fairly common. I would call your doc and try not to freak out (I know. mush easier said than done!!)
