Isn't it all just petroleum jelly (vaseline) anyway?

Re: Regular Aquaphor vs "Baby" Aquaphor
There is such as thing as Baby Aquaphor?
When my Ped suggested Aquaphor, my first question was was there an specific "baby" version. She told me regular Aquaphor was good to use, however she never really answered if there was a baby version. I took it to mean that there wasn't one.
Either way, she said regular Aquaphor was safe to use on his skin.

I just noticed this morning that the tube of Aquaphor we use on James has "BABY" spelled out in baby blocks above the Aquaphor...

They're both fine for baby...
the baby version has two extra ingredients, one being glycerin, that may help more with diaper rashes, but essentially they are the same with different size containers
I use regular aquaphor (I get free samples) and put them on DD's cheeks at night. I've never used diaper cream yet, but if I did I'd use aquaphor or vaseline

Just did some research, apprantly the baby aquaphor has a scent to it, which makes me since it's for dry or irritated skin, wouldnt' the scent make it a bit more irritated...I've always used regular on DD

Really? Maybe *that's* why the rash on hs cheeks isn't clearing up!

Fantastic question! I noticed this too when I was looking at the aquafor on diapers.com and trying to figure out which one to get.

I think i remember seeing that on the Aquafor baby shampoo. But never seen the regular ointment that says 'baby'.

yup...I've used regular since she was born, I would think the scented one would make her more irritated bc her skin on her face is so sensitive!
