Relocating to TENNESSEE
Hey girls- I just noticed some mentions of TN and I thought DH and I were to only ones from LI considering a move like that!!!!! Have you been to Dandridge/Gatlinberg? Douglas Lake is so amazing, my friends have a house on the lake and it is gorgeous. They look at the Smokey's behind the lake. We almost bought property down there but we bought a house here instead. 
What areas have you looked at? What have you found out about the state? It might be nice to share all of our findings. I can't wait to go down again in July!

DH & I are always looking at acreage in TN, I want 25 acres or more. We have only looked online so far. We look at areas within one hour of Nashville, knoxville or Memphis. This summer we are going to to look around a bit.
My husbands ex-wife & her 2nd husband are going there is weekend to look at homes.
I think its the next "big" place to be.

My cousins live in Franklin...which is about 25 mins or so from Nashville and its a BEAUTIFUL are! the schools are top rate and the area is a wonderful place to raise a family.
