Replacing CAC..cost?
What did replacing your old CAC with a new system cost you soup to nuts? Ours was fixed and hopefully good for the season but we want to replace it next year, thanks

Replacing CAC..cost?
It depends on what unit you want and several other factors such has the seer and how many tons needed to cool your home We just are replacing our unit and it's costing about 8k but if you're get a unit like lennox we got price quote for over10k

Last summer, our CAC compressor died so we had to replace both the compressor and the air handler (apparently the new systems run on a different type of freon) and it cost us 7,200 I believe... the brand was Rheem. We already had existing ductwork. We used Apple Air and were happy with the install.

we replaced our is October 2009. It was about $6200 before rebates.
This included a 2.5 ton, 16++ seer unit, which we also had moved from our back yard to next to our garage....

we are replacing a system soup to nuts this week (compressor, air handler, duct work) 2 zones. a 3.5 ton and 2 ton combo 13 seer. $8500
