Researching Doctors - Question
Does anyone have a website that provides info on doctors - like where they went to school and when they graduated...etc?

Keep in mind not all the information is up to date or accurate. I know there are tons of doctors on there with settlements or judgements that do not appear on the site - also some of the office info is outdated.
Overall it is a great site to get some basic info on a perspective doctor

make sure you spell the name correctly -Many doctors if they are D.O. and not M.D.'s are not necessarily on this site. If they are retired or brand new to medicine they are not necessarily on there either- it takes a while for some of them to get on there. But NYS requires that they participate

I also did a search through my health insurance (united). Their website gave me a lot of information.
