Hate HATE!!! Cheesecake factory, every time I eat there I feel so sick. (BUT. . .. I will eat a slice of cheesecake)
The Melting Pot, so nasty, I don’t know how people like it – it’s a great idea but the food is just AWFUL!

The last two, I think they are severely overpriced, particularly Besito. A dinner of 3 tacos is like $25 bucks. Are you kidding me?
At Teller's my steak came and it was burnt as hell on the outside. I was so disappointed.

So funny you say this - I've never been there but I think of it along the same lines as Ruths Chris. I HATE Ruths Chris. Their food always makes me sick and I'll never go back. So I'm never going to try PL either 
my issue with PL's is that no matter how you order your steak, it comes out medium. very little selection (i get it, they are known for their steak) and the place is nothing to look at. I perfer variety.
you want a medium steak, potatos and creamed spinich - go to PLs.

i've seen tellers mentioned a few times - I actually prefered Teller's to Mortons, RC, PLs, a few others on the Island.

PF Changs in Westbury is just not good. They seem to be poorly managed. I love PF Changs in general though. I Have been to some out of NY and they are great. Somethign is just wrong with the one in westbury.

I think it definitely depends on what meats you have and what cooking style you get.

Morton's is by far my favorite but I realllly love Tellers too

Just wondering what you didnt like about Jewel?
I have been there twice and thought it was great both times!
Went once and will never go back. Service was slow, staff was not educated on food and wine, my appetizer came out cold, and it was just too over the top for my taste. Bunch of snooty assholes who think they are better than everyone because they are out for an overpriced meal. lol
I feel like Jewel is way over priced for what it is aswell. the food was good, the desserts are excellent but the menu is not that extensive that i could keep going back.

All chains except Houston's. To me most chains are frozen food reheated. Sure it is fine if you are doing drinks and app's bc well when your drinking a fried app goes well..but I prefer to go to a real restaurant for dinner.

Serendipity 3 in the city. Worst experience ever. The food was horrible, we waited 2 hours, there were flies EVERYWHERE and our table was dirty.

I lloooove Luger's, but it really is limited. Not only is it mainly steak.. but it's only porterhouse! I think the meat seems medium rare to me rather than medium though.
I go and get the thick sliced bacon, sliced tomato, creamed spinach, Steak and German fried potatoes. I skip dessert though.. I don't think that's anything special.
God.. now I'm CRAVING PL's!

I love  Serendipity 3, I have eaten dinner there probably about 50 times in my life! Never had a bad meal there. Some of the waiters are still there from when I was 17.

I understand the feeling about Melting Pot. What I like about it, is it's a good place to sit with people and take a LONG time to chat and eat.
I don't like Besito either. I think b/c people told us before how authentic it is and DH and I have spent a lot of time in Mexico (non tourist) and it's not at all to our standards.
I don't like cheesecake, so there is no appeal for me to go to a restaurant devoted to cheesecake. The one time I did, I ordered some brownie sundae. I specifically pointed to it and the waiter brought out brownie cheesecake.
An Little Vincent's Pizza in Huntington. They have a sign saying they are rated best of LI, but it's boring and plain.
