Grocery store. I have them from Stop & Shop, Petco, Uncle Giuseppes, King Kullen. They usually have them near the counter for $1 or $2.

I like the ones at Waldbaums because they are recylced plastic and tall like the old paper bags. I can wipe them out if something spills.

i bought them online for less then $1 a bag and they are much bigger, let me see if I can find the site. (it was actually a site that was posted over on LIW for girls that were maiking out of town bags for their guests)
I bought 15 of them, and they are awesome!

heres the site
they are much bigger then the ones the grocery stores sell and hold up really well. I have put so much stuff in them and they never broke, and you can't beat 99 cents a bag!

I also love the Trader Joe's ones and also ones from Whole Foods and the supermarket (I have a mix of them). I also have the Trader Joe's insulated ones and they are great for bringing home frozen goods, milk, etc.

or
do you just like them plain?
My DH and I have been considering designing/manufacturing some, but I kind of backed off on the idea. Just curious to your input on them.

I bought organic hemp ones with double handles from reusablebags.com or something like that.
I also have some IGA ones which are great. The other grocery stores have them too. What I like is that there is a plastic insert in the gusset part that adds a little sturdy bottom.

I have a few from my local supermarket (Met) and they are HUGE.
Then I bought a couple at Toys R Us of all places! They had a few different designs (some really kid related and a few that look more adult and pretty). I bought two that have shades of pink on them and they're my favorite. They can be wiped down too and are very strong.
I also have 2 GINORMOUS ones from Bed Bath & Beyond. Seriously, if I put them on the floor, they go up to my thigh. They're awesome for carrying large things and people always ask me about them because sometimes you need a really big bag to carry something.

I like them plain. mine are black, and if they get dirty, its not as noticable. I didn't spend much on them, and if mine should rip or get ruined, I wouldn't replace them with anything that costs much more the a dollar or 2 considering thats all i paid.
