Re: Rice Ball Casserole Question

Enjoy! It's pretty easy to make. My only tip is not to freeze the leftovers. For some reason DH and I don't enjoy it at all out of the freezer.

Re: Rice Ball Casserole Question

my only tip is that we like a lot of sauce and i dont think the recipe calls for nearly enough sauce.

We're the same way- I just made an extra pot on the side and pour on.

It's a very easy recipe. I left out the peas (we dont like them) and it came out fine.

I agree w/ the other two PP. I'd make a side of sauce..ours was a little on the dry side. It was still really good, but I think a little sauce on the side would have made it better.

Yes, better to have more sauce than less. It can get dry.

I froze the leftovers.......well not really I guess.....I assembled one and put it in the freezer before baking it so I guess it's different. I thought that it was fine when I cooked it.
I agree on the sauce suggestion though.

Re: Rice Ball Casserole Question

I make 2 at a time and freeze one in individual portion sizes. Not as good as fresh but I still like it!

Re: Rice Ball Casserole Question

I attempted to make it. I had extra ground turkey left over and I made DH a turkey burger, a few hours later he was vomitting, so i didnt want to chance it so I threw it out.

I'm waiting a bit to try it again.
