Riley goes on Friday for her 15 month check up question about Chicken Pox Vaccine
Did your child have a reaction to the Chicken Pox vaccine? If so how long after they got the shot did it happen?
She is only getting that one shot since it is a live virus.
Also was it in the leg or arm?

Liam got the chicken pox vaccine at his 12 month visit. He didn't have a reaction. The ped said kids rarely have a reaction. I am pretty sure it was in the arm.

DD got it on Friday... ped said to just watch her to see if she has a reaction within 2 hours (fever, etc). She was fine, no reaction. It was in the arm.

She got it at 12mths in the thigh. Ped said little to no reaction. She had no fever, but did have a runny nose later that week that I am blaming on teething.

The triplets got it at their 12 month check up and it was given in the leg. They had no reactions at all but the Ped said it could be up to 7days after the shot for a fever or reaction to occur....Good Luck
