Re: sad news...
Thanks girls, It has been a hard morning, we are going to see the specialist on Thursday morning so hopefully i will hear what I want to hear, in some cases like i havebeen reading they go away on their own, so this is what i am hoping..... I Will be around so i will be on all day prob, bc there is nothing else for me to do right now... Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers keep us in her head for now,,,,
By the way, last night when the Dr. was feeling my tummy he goes BOY O BOY IS SHE BIG, already 9 ozs and almost 8 inches long... he said she is going to be a big baby so in my head i was like good at least she is growing!!

Heres a link for you
Seems that this increases the risk slightly but in very rare cases. Read the article. GL!

Re: sad news...
I'm sorry I hope this goes away on it's own!! How did your Ultrascreen and AFP tests come back? If they were good, then maybe the chances of it clearing up are really good. I'm not a doctor, just making an assumption

Re: sad news...
My baby had a choroid plexus cyst in his spinal fluid at my 20 week sono - I was freaking out. The doctor said these are very common and almost always go away, and sure enough by 28 weeks, it had disappeared. Good luck to you.

Re: sad news...
This is VERY common from what I understand - both of my DDs had it and both went away, so please don't worry! How did the rest of your tests come back? If the rest of your tests came back ok then it is highly likely they will dissolve.

Re: sad news...
we had this and by the time we went to the hospital to do the sono, it had disappeared....if you search my posts (sorry baby is crying and can't do it now but will try to log on again later) i found a few helpful websites.....
samantha was born perfectly healthy and had no signs of them at our next appt which happens alot - so try not to worry!
