I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this stress right now.
However, I work with a girl who was told the same thing about her  . She of course, like you stressed and cried until she had no more tears. She also went to see a genetic counselor. She went on to deliver a perfectly healthy baby girl this past September. The cysts dissolved on their own.

I hope everything is ok. I will be praying hard for your little girl. I am sure all will be fine. I know its hard not to worry so i wont even tell u not to do that.

I remember a few girls had this previously and they all had them dissolve on their own. I'm praying for the same for you!!!

Don't worry. My daughter was diagnosed with one as well - do some research and you'll see that the link to Down's and Trisomy is SO weak that many doctors now question it - I think it's somewhere around 1%. I was so concerned until I did some research and spoke to my doctor, who told me that he really believes that this is a normal part of development with all babies, but until recently was never detected - now that we have such amazing technology, and go for ultrasounds much more often, they see more and more, that may look strange, but is really just a normal part of development. In a few weeks the cyst should go away - I freaked for 3 weeks, went back to see a specialist, and it was gone. The specialist told me 9 times out of 10 it goes away and means absolutely NOTHING.

Be strong and we are all sending our hopes and prayers for your little girl. A friend of mine had this and they went away by the 6th month - she has a perfectly happy and healthy little boy.

Hey girls,
just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for everything, we have an appointment at 10AM tommoorw morning to see what is going on. I will let you know as soon as we find out, all day today i slept bc i did not sleep at all last night and DH has been great trying to be the strong one, finding articles online for us to read up on, plus some links we found on here, i feel a little better, but it is still hard. The good news is, when i get really upset i think Madison can sense it bc she starts to kick and move around, kinda saying "Mommy I am ok" so i am happy she is moving around in there. I will keep you girls posted tomorow when i get home from the Dr.
THANK YOU AGAIN YOU GIRLS ARE GREAT AND I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT YOU...
