I woke up at 2:30am with heartburn, took some tums, came on LIF read some posts. Went back to bed at 5:30am, woke up again at 7:30am with abdominal pain. Just thought I was just having stomach pains, didnt think it was anything. Then an hour later noticed pains were coming on alot closer, started timing and relized they were every 7mins. I called my DH who was at work, and he said he would come and get me. Called my sister telling her I was having pains and now they were 4mins apart, she told me to call my DH and have him meet me at the hospital, she was sending my bil to pick me up. My bil drove really fast, we went through stop signs, and red lights. He weaved around traffic while sticking his head out window and honking horn screaming "Lady having a baby"!. He made it from his house to me and then to NSP in 20 mins (9:30 amish)

DH was in L&D waiting for me, they put me in the room. Midwife checked my cervix we were 3-4cm dilated. It was a jewish holiday so my OB was off, so we had to call the covering Dr. to come in.

After an hour i could no longer take the pain, they gave me stadol, b/c anthesologist was in a C-section. The stadol wasnt working, finally they had another Anthesologist come down and do the epidural.. ahhhhh.. slept

At about 5:00pm, epidural was wearing off, OB came in checked cervix 7cm dilated and then "Pooof" I was 10cm and it was time to start pushing.

After 2 hours of pushing, DH and I got to see our precious little girl Samantha Rose (7:19 pm) She sooo beautiful, and instant love at first sight.
