Saw this in a magazine... name your top 10 comfort foods!!!
No specific order... I will start..
1. Mac and Cheese
2. Chicken Pot Pie
3.Homemade beef barley soup
4. Bologna sandwich
5. Kosher Salami and Eggs
6. Homemade Chicken Soup
7. Halavah- Chocolate covered of course!
8.Apple Pie
9. Jelly Doughnuts
10. Chocolate- Nestle crunch, peanut butter cups, Godiva etc.
Now name yours!

10 comfort foods (in no particular order)
1. sweet potatoes (preferably boston market's mashed sweet potato casserole)
2. macaroni and cheese (kraft only)
3. vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting (funfetti from the box especially)
4. coca-cola
5. salad (greek or italian)
6. cheese (all kinds but for comfort particularly brie)
7. pasta (baked ziti or penne alla vodka or ravioli)
8. garlic bread (to go with the pasta of course!)
9. chips and dip (ruffles and something sour cream based)
10. homemade soups (made by mom and dad)

2- warm apple crisp with cold vanilla cream
3- Homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk
4- Lasagna
5- Pasta with cream sauce, peas and pancetta
6- Skirt Steak with Chimichuri white rice and sweet plantains
7- Cadbury mini eggs or any cadbury chocolate
8- Magnolia Bakery cupcake
9- Corn on the con with herb garlic butter
10- French toast

Ohh man. I know I'm going to be so hungry after I list these...
1 - homemade mac and cheese
2 - whiskey and apple sweet potato casserole
3 - Tayto chips; the cheese and onion flavor (or should I say 'flavour'? )
4 - homemade vegetarian split pea soup
5 - drunken noodles
6 - baked fries (with the skin on!) sprinkled with cayenne and drenched in malt vinegar
7 - pizza from New Park
8 - lentil soup
9 - pasta with ricotta, peas, black pepper and hot pepper flakes
10 - butter pecan ice cream

Love this!
1. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (Any kind, but the more pb the better)
2. McDonald's fries- I really limit myself for McDonald's because if I have it once, I'll want it everyday for a week. It's like a sickness. 
3. Sarku Japan Chicken Teriyaki- I will pass by for a free sample as many times as they will let me. 
4. Peter Pan Bakery's (Greenpoint, BK) Creme Filled Crumb-Topped Donuts- My dad's old stomping ground, my mom goes here once every few months and buys them out of these types of donuts. They are so good and so in demand that she always has to call ahead and ask to have a batch put to the side.
5. Entenmann's Honey Buns- Just wonderfully delicious.
6. Texas Toast- DH and I are equally obsessed.
7. Actually, all bread. ALL bread. I could live off of bread.
8. Onion Dip
9. Nutella. Period.
10. Cream of Chicken/Mushroom Soup- Just YUM.

I pretty much lived on these when I went to Ireland.
They sell big bags at the Butcher Block in Sunnyside!!!! 
There's also a brand there - I forget the name - but it's a big bag that has chips flavoUred with shamrocks..

Gotta love butcher block. I go there when I need Crunchie bars, too! Ohhhhh I haven't had one in so long, I kinda forgot about them! I've never seen the shamrock chips though, I gotta try them!

5. Fettuchini Alfredo

8. Toasted Egg bagel with cream cheese and lox
9. Rigatoni with Ricotta mixed with the pasta water to make it soupy with fresh cracked pepper and sea salt
