Scar tissue?

I read alot of girls speak of scar tissue blocking thier tubes what causes this? I had a c section in 2009 could this be a factor? FYI I have a gyno appt next to talk about this issue could she prescribe clomid? Or do I need to do testing first? Thanks for answering all of my questions at a loss after 8 unsuccessful cycles

I would not let my dr prescribe any meds without further testing. I had to have an HSG and DH had to have a semen analysis before my dr would do anything.
