they scheduled mine for 1 week before my due date... i think they scheduled it about 2 weeks or so before... DD was breach, so we were waiting to see if she would turn around
Same here. We waited until about 37 weeks to schedule it for 39 weeks.

With DS I had one days notice - he was breech. I got a call at working saying "the doctors were talking about you at lunch and they want you to have your c-section first thing in the AM". DS was 3 weeks early.
With DD - I had her one week before my due date. It was scheduled about a month before. I didn't get to pick the date. It was when Dr. was on duty
