Scheduling Monitoring Appointments around a school schedule?
Is anyone going through infertility treatments that has a school-age chld?
From what I'm reading, some monitoring appts are in the early AM and I have noone to watch DS. The doctor's office had a little sign about bring kids to the office because of the sensitive nature of the environment but what can I do?
Anyone else dealing with this?

Do you know for sure your RE's office only offers early morning monitoring? If not, may as well not worry about this till you know if you need to. I worked with two REs and both did monitoring all day long.

LI IVF has the signs due to the sensitive nature try not to bring kids. That being said, i've brought my DS before on occassion when i had no choice (like when my DH and i went for 1st pregnancy sono - DH really wanted to come, so DS had to come too). I've seen other people occasionally bring kids too. I always go first thing at 6:30am since i work so I don't know about daytime monitoring.

I only know about North Shore and RS of NY and I had to bring DD for a follow up consult at North Shore and one time for early morning monitoring at RS of NY. I know with both of those places IVF/FET monitoring appointments are before 10am. Not sure if its different with IUI

I've seen women bring their children to RSoNY. If you call the office and explain the situation I'm sure they would not have a problem with it. Maybe they could even accommodate you when you are available, maybe right after your child gets on the bus or something.
