I already know a bunch of teachers at my school that wont be going in if its open so they better close!

I don't work for the DOE, but we follow their calendar and use their transportation services. In 13 years of teaching in the same place, I think schools closed ONCE. Once my particular school had a flood and the plumbing had to be shut off thus posing a health issue. You can't have a building full of kids with no plumbing.

I'm in the same situation, and I'm not holding my breath for a closure, but I'm holding out a tiny bit of hope. If not, I have days to use before the end of June that will not carry over, so I won't feel too guilty about using one.

Im secretly (ok not so secretly) praying that day care closes so I have no choice. Truth be told, it is easier for me if they close completely than if they close early. Closing early is a logistical nightmare for me.
