Schools question
I know what district we are in but how di I find out what elementary school my kids would go to...there are a few in the area!

we did know either and there are several but we asked our neighbors. we were realy surprised too because there is one down our street about 6 blocks and that isnt our zoned school, which kinda stinks because it is closer to us and doesnt require crossing a busy street

i hear ya we were wondering for a long time and didnt ask until about a yr after moving in lol you could probably call the district and they would know the zoning

Call the district office (or if you're in NYC, call 311). They'll tell you what school you're zoned for based on your address.

Go on Zillow.com and put in your address. It should tell you all the schools in your district someone in your house would attend.

I found out when I got the postcard showing me where my polling place was...
I assumed that was my elementary school.

Zillow might not be accurate. For my address, it tells me the closest schools. I'm in a different district than what Zillow tells me is my elementary school and I've confirmed that.
