Senior Center in Eastern Nassau/ Western Suffolk??
We just moved my Grandfather to Long Island from NJ after my Grandmother died and he is just so lonely.
He was part of a senior community in Jersey where they got together several times a week to do stuff.... does anyone know where I can find a place like that in Long Island? He's in West Babylon but is able to drive.
Any help is appreciated!!

rainbow center in Lindenhurst for any town of babylon resident and perhaps more (they give free transport for TOB)

If he is interested in moving...there are town senior apartments that have community centers and they have activities etc. FM if you want more info.

There's a seniors program at Phelps Lane in N. Babylon that is sponsored by TOB.
ETA: I just looked at Cindy's link and that's the one I'm talking about. My grandparents go there and like it.
