September Check In
I should be cycling soon. I haven't since last year due to many factors. Nervous to start back up. This time I'm doing genetic testing so it will be lots of cycles.

September Check In
Nearing the end of the 2WW on my 6th (and last) cycle of clomid/IUI. Totally feel like my cycle is going to be starting any minute. Boo. But, that means onto IVF this Sept! We may become impoverished, but I'm praying it's all for a "positive" outcome

September Check In
I was pretty active on here in 2014 when this board was hopping - had DD as a result of a fresh IVF cycle in May of 2015 and just got my BFP from a FET last week. I'm about 5 weeks and saw the gestational sac on a sonogram the other day. Have an appointment with my RE in 2 more weeks for bloodwork to check my progesterone levels and hopefully hear the heartbeat! Excited and cautiously optimistic. Hoping if all looks good, they'll take me off my meds -- I'm doing PIO shots every night, along with Endometrin. Ugh!

I stayed on PIO until I was 10w pregnant. I luckily didn't have to do the Endometrin...I HATE that stuff. I would do PIO over suppositories any day. I'm sorry you have to do both

Re: September Check In
Thank you so much! I actually went to my RE for a pregnancy test yesterday and its positive!! Initial HCG was good - over 400 at 16 days post IUI. I'm excited, but still have a lot of trepidation/worry. I also got that positive this past May and ended up with a 7 week m/c. My RE wants to be positive but he's also a realist and gives it to me straight. I'm 40, so any pregnancy (that isn't from an embryo pre-screened for abnormalities) has a 40-50% m/c rate. Ugh. Fingers crossed!!

September Check In
Hey just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Deanna dealing with infertility after 2 successful pregnancy. I'm an AMA momma, currently 41. We have been trying for about 1.5 yrs for our 3rd and final baby. Is it ok for me to be on this board if I've had successful past pregnancies? I dont want to be insensitive to others struggles.

Re: September Check In
I certainly hope it's Ok! I have had a successful pregnancy myself - my little girl. She's 3 now. I was 37 when I delivered her. We have been trying to give her a sibling since Dec/Jan and just got my 2nd positive pregnancy test in that time frame. The 1st unfortunately ended in MC at 7 weeks. Fingers crossed. I don't feel 40 years old, but these damn eggs don't seem to care! Welcome!

Re: September Check In
Congrats! We had a positive test this past Christmas, but lost the baby at 14.5 weeks. I've just started with a new fertility dr, and she wants us to go straight to IVF. I'm torn, confused and scared to be honest. I agree with you. I don't feel 41 and am pissed off that my eggs aren't cooperating.

Welcome.
Yes it is okay because secondary infertility effects many people. We have a mix of primary and secondary infertility on this board.
Keep us updated.
