Seriously, are farts funny?
After reading KeithHernandez's post and my ever so romantic DH enthusiasm for farting, it makes me wonder...is farting and the humour of it what separate men from women? 
I mean, I can appreciate a good one but to roll on the floor in hysterics, I just don't get.

Hahaha. I know what you are saying. I don't know what it is. My DH and my brother are hysterical with farting. I am like seriously. The last line of your post made me laugh.

well let me tell you a story from when i first met keith.
it was about 3 months into our relationship and we took a vacation to dorney park. well one night while we where there keith and kryssy had a pillow fight which turned into a farting contest  the 2 of them had a blast laughing there butts off and me going oh man what did i get myself into... well that nights memory turned into the funniest time of their relationship why they make some pepple burst into laughter and others sick by the thought i could not tell you... heck we all do it, i have learned because of that night just to deal with it

Apparently, my Wonderful DH seems to find it VERY AMUSING. Each of his fart has a different name as well. Ugh! The things that men find funny!

 it must be a man thing! I grew up with 3 sisters, no brothers. so I guess I was mistaken all these years in thinking that it's just an embarrassing by product of the digestive system. Apparently, it's the funniest thing on earth

My husband & son think they are hysterical. I can find amusement in them at certain times. Like when my husband tries to keep it silent in a store & then the blare comes out. the look of shock on him & the disgust of others. Gets me giggly. The comments my son makes are funny sometimes.
And now my darling little daughter will pretend to fart. Same daughter burps like a man. Now those are funny.

ETA: For me, I think it comes from the fact that I grew up with my Dad and 3 older brothers, so it was commonplace in my house, and then my husband's family is all men, so it's just a given!

my husband thinks he is funny.... he will blame it on the dog... i kind of laugh along...BUT if its one of those SBD farts.. then i dont find that as funny...instead i have to go get the air freshener

They can be funny. It's all about timing I guess lol. DH and DS think they are the funniest thing in the world. Me not so much.
I have been with DH 7 years and he has not heard me fart once.

Honestly sometimes they can make me chuckle. But the hysterical laughing that my DH breaks into over every little fart is a mystery to me. I love him to I humor him and laugh along sometimes.
I'm a gassy person so I think I account for 85% of his laughter throughout the day.

DH and I have never done that in front of each other so I guess we don't find it funny B U T
I have a close friend that farts ALL THE TIME - on purpose of course. He farts on command in all situations. I have heard him fart in stores, in WAKES and at WEDDINGS. LOL he says his talent is odorless loud farts on demand.
And every time his fiance yells at him he always looks at me and says "BUT SHE IS LAUGHING, FARTS ARE ALWAYS FUNNY!"
He gets me EVERY time, I HAVE to chuckle. And I am the most uptight prude you will ever meet.
