Seriously... she just won't sleep in her crib!

DH and I are exhausted....she used to be such a great sleeper when she was in the bassinet... now she falls asleep at like 8.. sleeps until 12 or 1 in her crib and then that's it... hysterical crying... won't go back in... she ends up in our bed... we're exhausted and I dont know what else to do!!
ETA- she also wont fall asleep on her own...not unless she's in the car seat in the car or stroller or something like that... and I think she now has separation anxiety with ME... she cries if she sees me and I dont go to her, even if she's with DH...

I know this might sound crazy but do you have room in your bedroom for her crib?

A friend of mine did this and it worked beautifully. She then just transitioned the crib back to the babies room once the coast was clear to do so.

My DD was pretty good about sleeping in her crib (when she slept ) but what worked for us when she wouldn't go to sleep was the routine. Do you have a routine every night? How old is your DD? Prncss Rachel had a good suggestion about putting her to bed awake but drowsy because if she falls asleep in your arms or in the carseat etc and wakes up in her crib, she'll be scared/angry/confused.

I know this sounds crazy but it works.. I have a blow up mattress on the floor in DD room I lay on it until she falls asleep in her crib then I leave.. Shes good for the rest on the night.. She just needs to know Im there and I was sick of sitting in the chair because it did take a long time at first.. If she does get up I go in lay down she lays down in her crib and goes back to sleep..

DD sleeps with us..
it wasn't what I wanted to do- but it just is right now...
with the two of us working FT I just don't have any fight in me to stick it out with DD right now- i have to get up early and I can't deal w. sleepless nights.

DD is 5 months old... I cant even put her down in her crib for naps... she immediately wakes up and starts crying... I've tried staying in her room, it doesnt work... I'm at my wits end... and I'm afraid of her sleeping with us because she's so tiny!
ETA- although she has been sleeping with us every night from like 1am until 7am! I just make sure there's no pillows or blankets near her... but its not a sound sleep for us!!
