sesame place as a day trip?
I was wondering if this is doable (we are in Suffolk). If anyone has done this, could you give me the run-down? Thanks.

Re: sesame place as a day trip?
Just so ya know when you buy your sesame place tickets it's a two day park pass, you may want to look into a hotel. We were pooped afterward. It was fun but exhausting. HTH

Re: sesame place as a day trip?
We did it last year and this year. We went this Saturday. The park closes at 8 so you're home by 10:30 or so (we're in W. Suffolk). We left at 7:30 and were home by 10, that included a bit of traffic on Staten Island.
The 2 day pass can be used any 2 days, they don't have to be consecutive so we will be doing another trip come August.

Re: sesame place as a day trip?
we are in nassau, but we did it last year.
I thnk we got on the road around 8, and got there around 10, 10:30.
Left at about 6:30 and got home about 830.
Definitely doable for one day.

Definitely!!!! We did it and are happy we did. Our friends booked a hotel, and cancelled when they saw how close it really was. We left around 7 and were home by 8:30 (we live in Manhattan).

Re: sesame place as a day trip?
Thanks so much for the info. Do you ladies think it makes sense to bring food with us? What were your experiences with eating there?
