Sex for one week straight??
Just curious...how bad is it if you had sex for one week straight (meaning the week where you are possibly fertile) Ive heard that every other day is best but is it really bad to have sex every day?

ive heard that the sperm get depleted with too much... i think a day or 2 break is a good idea... as long as you do a few days in a row around when youre most fertile

In the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, she compared it to overwatering a plant. I would stick with every other day.

My doctor told me every day is better than every other day. I guess that is if his sperm is perfect. Just found out that my DH's sperm is not 100% perfect but not bad either according to my doctor. I am going to ask him about this tomorrow at my appointment. I'll keep you posted.

mine said every other day also. i think every day is fine if there's no issue, but every other day is much more feasible for us.

we did every other day before + opk and then almost everyday after + opk....we try for everyday but life gets in the way sometimes....
i was told that it depends on DH....if ur DH is used to ejaculating everyday then there is no problem...but if not then it could pose a problem...

i dont think there should be a problem with BD every day...

With all 3 of my PG we BD at least the 3 days prior to ovulation and the day of, all in a row. We didn't do the every other day thing. We tried it, but it didn't work for us. One of my PG we BD the 4 days prior, so a total of 5 days in a row!  Everybody is different so it's hard to say what works best.

If there no male factor issues then go ahead and have as much sex as you like. I never really worried about doing it too much. When we conceived our DD we had sex the two days before I ovulated, had the IUI and then had sex the night of the IUI, and had sex twice the day after the IUI and more time after that just to be safe. I wanted to make sure I covered all my bases.

That is what i did with DD and got pregnant, Sunday to Sunday during my O week and found out at 10DPO
