Sherri Shepherd Is Engaged
I watch and DVR the View daily and had no idea she was dating! How cute is the last paragraph?
The View's co-host Sherri Shepherd, 43, said yes to television writer Lamar Sally, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.
The couple of more than a year became engaged on December 26 after returning from a San Diego trip. And the proposal was definitely a romantic one: Upon their arrival, Sally's friend had decorated the home with lights, put a Santa beard and hat on her dog, and hid the ring box in Shepherd's bowl of M&Ms.
Before asking for his love's hand, Sally asked permission from Shepherd's 5-year-old son, Jeffrey. The couple is planning an August wedding in Chicago.

I saw her on some Christmas special and she hinted and talked about "getting engaged" for the holidays enough I thought she was going to go out and buy her own ring.
Poor guy didn't have a chance

The guy that was decorating her place for the Christmas special bought my co-op from me!

I saw a christmas special with her home in Harlem. It is a beautiful Brownstone.. and they brought in her boyfriend at that point. They looked cute together.
