shoes for standing and "trying to walk baby"
My DD is standing up a lot and cruising around the table and the couch, she just wears socks or is barefoot all day,I was wondering, does she have to wear shoes at home since she is standing and trying to walk? What kind of shoes? Thanks

Get her stride rites. they have shoes (I think it's stage 1 for when they are just starting out) with good traction and that are able to bend and are light.

barefoot is best!! They don't "need" shoes at that time.
My girls never have shoes on in the house, especially in the warm weather, always barefoot. In the winter it's grippy socks or robeez.
But if you want to get something-robeez are great, pedipeds, or stride rite stage 1s.

I think I read somewhere that babies shouldn't wear shoes at all or very limited until age 2? It was definitely over a year.

In the house he never has his sneakers on. We got him a pair of shoes from Stride Rite for when we are out. I have noticed that they do help to support him better.
