Shower or Tub?
We are re-doing our upstairs bathroom. We use this bathroom to shower and we have a tub in the downstairs bathroom where we bathe the kids.
The thing is, I don't want shower doors. Hate cleaning them, and it seems impossible to not get residue.
So would you go with a shower and a curtain, or just put in another tub?
Is there a big cost difference?

Re: Shower or Tub?
A custom shower will cost way more than a tub with tile. We went through the exact same thing recently. I hate shower doors for cleaning so we choose a tub with a curtain. If we ever decide to sell we will add shower doors since I think they are better for resale but for now I don't have to clean them and I'm very happy.

Re: Shower or Tub?
Thanks! It would not be a custom shower. It would just be the size of the tub, which we can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's

Tub with curtain, and I do not think a shower door is better for resale, I had to take mine out when we moved in because I can't bathe the kids with the doors on. Now we need to redo the bathtub because it tore up the paint on the tub.
