Shower ?'s--- time and length
How long does a baby shower usually go for? And what is a good time frame to have it? What time is a good time to start it?
The place we are having it has a function at 7.

Most of the showers I have been to have started around 1 or 2:00 in the afternoon and lasted 3-4 hours.

it usually depends on the place its 3 or 4 hours long, on a Sat. or Sunday afternoon.. say from 12-4
or 1-3

Mine was 12-4, but we we pretty much done at 3-ish. I only had about 25 ppl and opened gifts pretty fast and didnt have any games.

My shower started at 11:30 and ended at 3. It was just enough time. Not too long, not too short.

I did my sisters from 11-3. Baby showers are usually earlier on in the day.

Ours was a brunch and started at 11:30 for a small hours d'oeuvre hour and ended at 2:30. I opened gifts as people ate. I like the timing. IMO another hour would have been too much for me to handle at that point in my PG.
