Re: side effects of getting tubes tide? did you get them tied?
I had mine done 3.4 yrs ago. I have been having a whole bunch of period issues. I do not know yet if it is from the tubal or not. I have been getting severe pain on the right side when I get my period. My periods have been much heavier and more often. My gyno wants to do an exploratory surgery to see if something is wrong. It could just be from my c/s. Not sure.

I had it done 18 months ago after my last C/S. I haven't had any problems at all.

Re: side effects of getting tubes tide? did you get them tied?
I wanted to get my tubes tided but my ob said that after ten years the tubes can reconnect without you know and you could get pregnant. So I wanted to do the essurance but I am allergic to nickle so that was out. Ultimately I decided on doing a paraguard IUD because it's no hormone and it's extremely effective. I've had it over a year now and for the first three months periods were! But now they've steadied out and are 4 days long. Explore all of your options, there are a ton out there!

bc were done having children i was considering having either tubes tied or the essure procedure. my own personal choice but i just couldnt go so permanent so i went wth the paragaurd iud (the hormone free one) its been 3 months since ive had it. no issues with it just a heavier period the first 2 days a very light period the next 3 days . so far im happy with it
