Silly question - can you hold your baby in either arm?
I'm a righty, so I always hold Jackson in my left arm, sitting on my left hip. Well, for some reason if I switch him over to my right side, I can't hold him for very long! So weird how much stronger my left arm is, but yet I don't have a huge bicep on that side

I'm a righty & hold Lily with my left arm too. I haven't tried the right. I bet I'll find I can't do it as long either.

Re: Silly question - can you hold your baby in either arm?
This is really weird, because I too am right handed. When he is laying on me having his bottle, he is on my left arm. But if I'm holding him upright, it's usually on my right hip. But, he's such a big boy that I try to use the Baby Bjorn as much as I can.

I switch back and forth. I always start on the dominant side but have to switch eventually b/c my arm starts to get sore now that she's bigger.

Same here. I start on my right hip and then switch to my left. Either side feels fine.

Re: Silly question - can you hold your baby in either arm?
I'm a lefty...and if I'm holding DD up, I use my left arm, left hip. However...if I'm feeding her a bottle, she sits on my right leg, in my right arm, and I hold the bottle with my left hand.
PS. DH is also lefty and he does it the exact same way as me

Always right.
When they were very small I could hold one in each arm

Re: Silly question - can you hold your baby in either arm?
I'm a lefty and feed with her head on my left arm (but can do the right - it just doesn't feel as natural.)
I carry on her in my right on my hip - I don't think I ever tried my left...

I am a righty, I hold him on my right hip...which I need to stop doing, I think it is contributing to my sciatica

I'm more comfortable with her on my left, leaving my right free (I'm a righty).

I am a righty...To feed him his botle, i hold him in my left arm only. And when carrying him, I can only hold him in my right arm.
