OMG I have such a bad cold right now too!!!! I actually caved and used Afrin last night (doctor approved). I think I might try the netti pot if it doesn't get better...my mom loves it!

I use a humidifier while I sleep - it seems to help.

The neti pot is awesome. I starting using it a few years ago and it made a huge difference. The problem for me is that I don't use it consistently. I'm so stuffy now, and I keep saying I need to use it again and keep forgetting.

I always had sinus issues but pregnancy seems to have made everything worse.
A few things have helped a lot! But, if I skip a day or two, I can barely breathe!
*I use a neti pot every single day, I use very warm water and one packet of solution for each pot.
*After the neti pot, I gargle with hot salt water.
*After I am done with my shower, I run the hot water and sit in the bathroom for a few minutes for the steam.
*I always sleep with the window cracked.
*I keep my head elevated at night with two pillows.
-- As the winter progresses I may have to get a humidifier.

Ive used just Saline nose spray and the neti pot. I had to use them both everyday to feel a difference.
