Sitting for a long period of time

Does this make anyone else really uncomfortable?
When I am sitting at my desk for a while, I start to get a really uncomfortable feeling "down there" (TMI!)
Is this normal??

Re: Sitting for a long period of time

I only started getting that in the past 2 weeks. For me though its more when I get up. I am fine sitting but when I go to get up its really uncomfortable until I walk it off for a bit.

Re: Sitting for a long period of time

I don't realize that I have to pee until I stand up. Then it is very uncomfortable.

The main problem I have with sitting is that I get back pain and general stiffness and lately it happens after only a short time.

Re: Sitting for a long period of time

For a few weeks now, I have back pain when I sit for long periods of time. I really have to get up and move around if I'm at my desk a lot. It goes away when I walk around a little.

The worst is the commute home--I'm usually standing by the end of the LIRR ride!

Re: Sitting for a long period of time

It's normal. It does get worse in the 3rd trimester. Make sure you take a break every 2 hours or sooner to stretch and walk. And go to the bathroom often.
