Sitting in the hospital waiting room, going crazy-- talk to me. Update: He's in recovery!// UPDATE #2-- We're home!!
Shane is having his tongue clipped and a testicle pulled down, along with penile adhesion repair and a possible hernia repair. It feels like he's been in there forever, too long and mind is thinking the worst. Just need some reassuring words I guess...
Update: He's in recovery, he was inconsolable for quite awhile so they gave him tylenol with codeine and hes out like a light. Thanks so much everyone, it helped so much!! 
Update #2: We're home!!! Finally I'm on an actual computer and can type what happened, my phone sucks to type on. So, he had to have his testicle pulled down and his tongue clipped which were planned, but when they examined him, they said he had penile adhesions (complications from his circumcision when he was born that apparently my ped never noticed?!?!?!  ) and a hernia. He said the hernia was common with a retracted testicle and you don't even know they have it until they open him up. He's very uncomfortable now but the Tylenol is helping. He nursed like a champ which was good and since we've been home he hasn't stopped sticking out his tongue, it's hysterical to see him playing with it and funny because I have to get used to seeing him with a tongue that can actually stick out.

aww, we're here for you. He'll be ok and hopefully by this weekend, you'll have your little man back to normal again.

Awww, he is fine, he will be fine. Just try to relax and drink some coffee and it will be over before you know it

I can only imagine how scared and nervous you must be! The waiting is killer.
My DS was tongue tied as well and we had his frenulum cut when he was 2 months old. I can honestly say that he didn't really feel any pain and was happy within a few hours. It made such a difference for him.
Good luck and please update us on Shane as soon as you hear anything.
