Slanted walls in Nursery?
Does anyone have a nursery with walls that slant -- you know upstairs when the roof slants.
Our nursery walls are straight for about 4' and then slant in towards the ceiling. I'm trying to figure out how to paint the room.
Any advise? TIA!!!

we just did this. We converted the attic into 2 rooms--I will ask my dh when he gets home. If I forget because of the babies--fm me and remind me.

Re: Slanted walls in Nursery?
we have the same issue.
I think we are picking one color, putting a darker version going up about 4 feet have a molding strip there, then a very light color for the rest, so it feels open. Around the molding we may put a border strip.

Re: Slanted walls in Nursery?
we have a cape with the slanted ceilings/walls. havent decided if i will do the walls one color and leave the ceiling part white, or if we will do the entire area in the wall color. In our br the wall and ceiling are the same color, in DD room the ceiling is a shade lighter than the wall part.

We are also in a cape and one wall of the baby's room is slanted from the roof. I have pics in my album.

Re: Slanted walls in Nursery?
Right now we have the wall and the slanted part the same color and then the ceiling is white. However, when we do repaint for the nursery I was thinking of doing what someone else mentioned: two shades of the same color. The darker color would be on the bottom to the slant and the lighter color would be the slan itself and the ceiling. I definitely do not want a white ceiling again.
