Slight coughing & runny nose, no fever. What can I do?
DS nose just started running today, and hes been coughing here and there a little bit. If he doesnt have a fever, is this just allergies? He doesnt seem to be uncomfortable or anything. Is there anything I can do? The peds office is now closed so I cant call.

my DS has a slight cough and a clear runny nose 3 days before/after a tooth comes in , so as long as it doesn't get worse, i don't call the ped.

Re: Slight coughing & runny nose, no fever. What can I do?
1. Cool mist humidifier in his room during sleep.
2. Non-medicated saline drops in his nose.
3. Slightly elevate side of the crib where his head is so the fluid drains.
4. Doctor MAY suggest a little Benadryl to suppress the cough but I'd wait to ask.

Oh no! I hope he didn't catch Ezra's runny nose He still has a runny nose but no other symptoms. It could be teething related which is what I had assumed Ezra's was...
Hope he feels better soon!

I hope he didn't catch it from Jack. It could be teething, since you said it seems like he may have a tooth coming in soon. Jack got cold like symptoms before each set of teeth popped through. Hope he feels better.

Yeah, I'm hoping this is just teething related, although I'm not feeling too great myself We'll see tomorrow how he feels. No fever though, thank god!

My older DD always got a cold whenever a tooth was breaking through.
Use the saline drops and the booger sucker to get the boogs out.
Hope he feels better soon.
