Slipped on ice tonight-Be careful out there!!

Be careful out there ladies. I think Nassau was worse than Suffolk. I was walking to my car after work and my legs went out right from under me! Fell back and landed on my rear and back smashed my phone. I was in shock. Thankfully I fell back and not on my belly. Was almost like slow motion. Long story short called the emergency hotline and was told to go to labor and delivery for monitoring. Drove all the way to Stony Brook and was there for a couple of hours. Thank god my little girls are well. They weren't very cooperative. Moving around they couldn't get a baseline. My back is killing me but as long as they are ok I am fine. BP was a bit high but they didnt seem overly concerned.

All I can say is even if you think the ground is just wet, don't take it for granted. It could be ice!! Stay safe ladies.

Glad to hear you and your little ones are OK. I am so afraid of falling on the ice. My front walk gets super slippery.

So sorry to hear about your fall! But VERY glad to hear your babies are doing well!! I fell at work the other day on our tile floors bc it was so snowy and gross. I was fourtunate enough to land on my knees, far away from baby, but I know it can be scary at the time!
