Slowest Slow Flow Nipple?!?!
What's the slowest one you've found/used? DD is a crazy powerful sucker. She sucks so hard that she collapses the nipple and I need to "pop" it back out. I feel like even with some slow flow nipples, she gets so much milk out from sucking so hard that she is gulping it down (I can audibly hear the "gulp" sound as she's eating). Suggestions?!?! HELP!

Is she spitting up? If not and no other issues then I would just stick with your current nipple. I liked the Dr Browns personally.

Slowest Slow Flow Nipple?!?!
Why would you want a slower nipple? Maybe she needs a faster one so she doesn't feel like she hasta work so hard?

She has spit up 3-4 times (in total since coming home from the hospital - she's now 2 weeks old), but its definitely not happening with every feeding. I just assumed on those rare occasions that it was typical baby behavior.

I thought because she was gulping so much that she was taking in too much formula.

Slowest Slow Flow Nipple?!?!
After trial and error, we found that playtex slow flow breastlike shaped nipples worked the best.
We tried other slow flow playtex nipples, tommy tippee, and avent. There was a significant difference between those and the playtex breastlike shape.

Did you use those nipples with the playtex drop-in bottles? I've read good things about those bottles but the biggest complaint seems to be that everyone has a really hard time figuring out how many ounces the baby drank b/c the drop in liner gets all crinkled up and its the bottle that has the measurements on it, not the liner.

i was thinking the same thing if its slower, shes just going to suck harder
to answer the original question though, Dr Browns has a premie nipple...its the slowest one I found. I had to use iwth my son because he would choke while drinking

If she's sucking so hard then you need a faster flow nipple, not a slower flow.

Yes at first but the liners get expensive after awhile. We've used playtex ventaires ever since. We'll use them for #2 as well.... As long as I can get DD1 off of them!

We used the dr Browns premie nipples too for a few weeks while my son learned to drink from a bottle. It was the only thing slow enough
