nipple switch from slow to faster flow - this normal?
DS was really working hard to suck from the slow flow, and so I got him fast flow, and hes struggling a bit with it. He get fussy and kicks around, finishes what he usually does, burps and no problems afterward.
Is this normal is this something he just has to adjust to?
We are using playtex ventair, and I think there is only slow 0-3 months and fast 3-6 months.
Another reason for switching is that he's eating more, like 7 ounces, and its taking him 20 minutes to finish.
The fast flow took him about 8 minutes.

Playtex has medium flow nipples.

Playtex has medium flow nipples.
Yup, and if you can't find the ones that say VentAire use the ones that say for Drop Ins, they are the exact same nipples. I use them interchangeably all the time.

We went for Dr. Brown's 1 to 2 about 2 weeks ago at 3 months. It took him about 3 days to adjust his sucking.

I use the slim ventaire bottles and I use Dr. Browns nipples stage 2. They work great....
