Have I mentioned that I hate winter more than anything else in the world.
I can't anymore!! I am so done with this weather. I walk around in my bathrobe while my 2 1/2 year old runs around without socks eating brownies for dinner. I can't fight with my kids anymore, I need sun and warmth. I pray for rain and I hope we are done with cold weather and snow!! Last year I put my winter clothes away so early, this year they are staying out till June! I use to live in that mindset that boots go away in March and that has now changed.
It's definitely changed. As a kid I remember it being spring and warm by April. A few years ago we got off a plane from Florida on 4/26 and it was 40 degrees in NY and damp and FREEZING. At the END of April.
I am so cold. I am so sick of being bone chilling cold. It actually hurts. Like I am laying here wrapped in 2 blankets right now with our pellet stove pumping and I am still so cold. My hands feel like a corpse. I just want to feel comfortable again.
Yes!!! I feel like I'm only comfortable June thru September. The whole rest of the year is just an awful extended period of cold & gloom.

Cold?? We've had the warmest autumns and winters lately. We only have one or two snowfalls a season. I feel like all we have lately is summer and spring, there is hardly winter cold anymore. This season alone has had so many days in the 50s and 60s, that's ridiculous for winter.

All i know is I have been freezing... last weekend was awful and brutal and this weekend was worse. Just running errands was horrible. In and out of the car in the freezing winds....it cuts right through your clothes. I just want to stay home when its like this. And it's MARCH. It should at least be getting better, not worse, by now.

We don't live in a tundra where we can't come out for months at a time!
I get not liking snow. I get it can be a inconvience
But I feel like people think we live in Antarctica

Yes! I have a really cute pic of DS running around the backyard in nothing but a diaper the week before Christmas.
I like a good snowstorm every once in a while. Although, I'd rather be at the beach with a cocktail.

Snow map - ForTuesday March 13th 2017
I feel like it definitely hasn't snowed as much of been as cold as the past few winters. We've had plenty of spring-like days in the past couple of months. I've had my kids outside a lot at the playground, on walks, etc.of course we've also had plenty of cold days mixed in as well. I'm just really not looking forward to Tuesday's predicted snow bc we've had such nice warm days recently, so I'm just ready for it to officially be Spring already.

I know. I just have real issues with seasonal affective disorder and depression from it. And feeling cold all the time. I hurt from it. Heck, I am cold when the temp drops below 75.
I just feel like by the time March rolls around I am done. If it could at least be in the 40s in March I'd be ok. I am not expecting it to be in the 60s or 70s. Just a little better than freezing. Snow is just so life interrupting for me.

I walked into stop and shop yesterday and there were hundreds of people shopping. I turned around and walked out! Going to try this morning to pick up a few things. Hopefully its not as crazy as yesterday!

She should be ok to get out Wednesday night. The worst of it should end Tuesday night. The flights impacted the most will be the ones that are scheduled to leave on Tuesday. Hope everything is ok.

For you guys. My area (Carmel/Danbury vicinity) is at two feet.  But my mom is on her own on LI so I am glad you're getting less.
