So bittersweet! I just put Gavin to bed in his crib for the 1st time.
He will be 5 months tomorrow and it is time for him to transition from the bassinet to the crib. This is the first night he is not sleeping in our room.
He is starting to pull himself up and I am scared he will fall out of the bassinet.
This is hard!

OMG you are brave. My DS is only 3 months and I can't fathom sleeping without him next to us in his PNP I know it's gotta happen soon but it'll be very sad..

It's a good thing though... be happy he is adjusting to the crib well...
DS went into the crib at 3 months and DD was in her crib at 2 weeks~ I was actually relieved when they both slept in the cribs..

Awww
It will be OK! Landon slept in his crib from day 1 - except on really hot days (AC in our room) - and I actually prefer when he is in his own room.

I remember that first night too, it was so heartbreaking. I'm sure he'll do great, and you'll all start sleeping more soundly Feel free to check on him a hundred times tonight though-- we won't fault you for it!
