So, How Many Kids Do You Have This Year?
How many students do you have this year?
If you're middle school/HS etc....put both: what's the most you have in the room in a class, and your total you see .

I'm an elementary school teacher in Queens...and this year I have. 31 fifth graders. It's definitely a tight squeeze, but we make it work! We do a lot of side-stepping to get around! Haha
Last year I started out with 35, but my Principal opened a class within the 2nd-3d week of school which brought me to 29.

I have it VERY lucky. I am in a long island public elementary school and have 19.
I originally had 21, one moved over the summer, another moved first week of school.
I am supposed to lose another one after the holidays, so i'll be down to 18!

in in the city- middle school. i have 3 classes- 30, 29, and 25 kids. so far.... rosters change throughout the year though. but we are title 1 so we cant have more than 30 in a class..

Elementary School in Suffolk County...I have 22, but I'm inclusion so they try to keep us lower. The other sections in my grade have 23-25.

I teach Resource Room and have just over 40 kids.
ETA: The most I have in a class is 5.

Total is just over 300 students that I see each week. Largest class is 26.

In five classes, I have 29 seniors (one section), 44 juniors (22 in each section), and 52 sophomores (23 in one section, 29 in the other). Total is 125, I guess. Ugh. Too many papers to grade as an English teacher. 
ETA: Long Island public high school

I'm at a city high school.
I have a total of 8 classes with between 22-30 in each. Total of the 8 classes is 213.
I teach Algebra Lab.

My schedule changes daily courtesy of lab.
Period 1 Bio Lab - 23
Period 2 Bio Lab - 6
Period 3 Biology - 20
Period 4 11-12 Elective - 27
Period 6 11-12 Elective - 26
Period 7 Bio Lab - 20
Period 8 11-12 Elective - 26
Period 9 Bio Lab - 14
So about 150 total.

It takes the place of my circular 6. We have "acadamy" which is a 23 minute period every day that is our cir 6. I don't have it. I teach the regents prep class 2x a week instead. I was given the choice of which one I wanted to do.

My one AP class has 20 students, my 4 other classes each have 34 students. I teach in NYC in an overcrowded school. It took a long time to get the classes down to 34.
