so I am starting potty training today and have some questions
I am just putting him in undies, no pull ups. what do you do about poops? I can't imagine that he will go poop on the potty....should I just assume he will go in his undies?
what about nap time? should I put him in a pull up....I am assuming if I don't he'll wake up wet...not that that's a bad thing, but I am thinking maybe I should start undies at nap time in a day or two.
any other tips???

Re: so I am starting potty training today and have some questions
We are in the early stages of potty training. we haven't put him in undies yet, but will by next month if needed.
I would imagine they may poop in their undies, but then quickly will find it disgusting, and tell you when they have to go. My son can already tell me when he has to go, so i just rip the diaper of and put him on the potty. yesterday, he missed the toilet though! Fun times!!!!
I would imagine the same thing during naps, although I would get one of those sheet protector things so that you dont have to watch the sheets for every nap! Good luck!!

It's hit or miss with DD.
She is fully pee trained (day) but 2 out of 5 times she will poop on the potty. Some days if she goes up for a nap, we put her in a pull up and will go in that. Other days she says she has to do poop and runs to the potty. Some days she goes, some days she doesn't. She has been asking for a pull up to poop in in the last couple of days.
I'm not really pushing it yet, she held it in for 4 days a few weeks ago and I'd rather her go in the pull up then not at all, KWIM?
