someone got me the Graco one.... and it says it starts working in the beginning of the 3rd trimester. So i was scared to try it out. Does yours say that?
And what's the deal with the water on the stomach? Does the directions say to do that or is it a trick? I don't recall reading that....
I'm nervous to try it. And mine didn't come with the battery.

the box on this one says 14-16 weeks.
it says to use water or gel if you have a problem hearing anything. the water DEF helps, i didnt buy the gel.
also for one of the previous posters, the device advertises recording the fetal heartbeat, not the mamas heartbeat. but im sure you could do whichever you wanted!
