So I'm happy to report that my six month old is the size of a healthy one year old!!!

Ditto on both counts! 
A lot of the '08/'09 babies seem to be above-average in size. My DD was about the same size at 6 months.

must be the water supply when we were pregnant LOL! I'm tall so I'm not surprised with her being so long!

I AGREE!!! Athan had almost identical "stats" at 6 months - 20 lbs and 28 and 1/2 inches long!!! WOOO HOOO FOR BEING ABOVE AVERAGE!!!!!
Chelsea is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaahhhhh those EYES!!!!

the scary part is that this is her thinning out or slowing down in the weight gain, she's been gaining consistently 2ish pounds a month and this month only around a pound but gained an inch and a half in lenght

Not my son! We just got back from his 6 month check up and he weighed 15.2 lbs and was 26 1/4".

Our babies need to meet! Kameron was almost 19lbs at her 6 month and is 28 inches...i can not tell you how many people say things like, how old is she around a year???!!!! And she is as smart as one!!! She fights naps, has a little temper and wakes up in the night like crazy for a million and one reasons...she has a complete mind of her own!!! Your baby is precious!

Must be something in the water! Pickles we are in the same boat.
My DD is also still large...26.75 inches and 21.4 lbs at 7 mths!
She's a beauty!

Very true!! My DS was 22 pounds at 6 months

whatever-- she's so cute!! at least you know she is growing and healthy!
I think Sasha will be up there in height as well-- at her 4 month, she was 25 1/4 inches.

That doesn't sound that big. My son was 18 lbs and just under 27 inches and that was 50th percentile for both....maybe because he's a boy? Hmmmm.

My 22 month old is only 22 lbs and change! She wasn't 19 lbs until she was around 18 months old. I bet your DD will eventually even out...nothing wrong with a healthy kid!!

Ronan was also 27 inches and 17.3
