So last night at work..i almost ran a dog over..but

So last night at work..i almost ran a dog over..but
the good news is...i stopped just in time and got him to safety..he was in the middle of a dark & windy road that has alot of traffic and he was a black lab...luckily he had ID....poor thing got spooked by all the thunder & ran away and was soaking wet..and was missing for a few hours...so happy i didn't hit him, or get a call that someone else did! 
The funniest part of this incident was that i have a new cellphone that's touch screen..and i had no idea how to make a call that wasn't a # in my contact list..so i am standing blocking traffic holding the dog with one hand & trying to figure out how to use the phone with the other in the dark
