so nervous about fertilization report today!
Hi everyone!
I just had my ER yesterday. I got 24 eggs! We did half ICSI and half the traditional way. I am now so nervous that none fertilized! I know I am over thinking this but it is so scary! Do you think I have anything to worry about? Is it common to have no fertilization? (even with ICSI)?

I don't think there is ANY WAY you're have NO fertilization. That is a great number of eggs, now its just to see how many are mature...and I'm sure you'll have at least 10 fertilize!! Lots of luck!

I don't know what the percentages are with or without ICSI, but I want to say that 24 is an amazing number and you are sure to get lots of fertilized eggs.
I will say, that when they used ICSI on my eggs (3 each time) they all fertilized.

There are cases that zero fertilization can happen (in severe MF cases) but since that doesn't apply to you, you will be fine!!
The average fertilization rate in IVF is 60-70% (many times there is 100%), so you will be fine!!

I had 22 eggs at my ET and 17 fertilized. We did do ICSI though. OUt of the 17 we transfered 1 5day embryo (I regret doing 1 I should have done 2). Then we only had 4 to freeze that made it.

theres no logical reason why you wouldnt have any fert - especially the ones that were ICSI'd.
