Also, it's not just NYC. There are crazy storms / ice in all the southern states. This is definitely atypical.
We better not be heading towards another Ice Age.
This theory I saw on the history channel really freaked me out..

I saw a show that said that we are headed towards an ice age. 10s of thousands of years from now. But WE are slowing that down. So we are messing up the earths natural cycle. Which is bad for earth, but good for us I guess. But with anything, we would learn to adapt over time.

I just keep thinking we still have February and March to go through.
I do like snow, i think it is pretty but now that the holidays are over... Bring on summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in New Orleans and it's COLD! high's of 28 windchill in the teens. The houses down here are NOT meant to handle this type of weather, so it's very drafty everywhere. I'm sick and tired of being freezing in my own house!
yesterday we had an ice storm. Everything shut down... Schools have been closed since yesterday and may open tomorrow depends on the refreeze situation. Curfews were put in place to make sure all the idiots stay off the roads. It's nuts. All these southern states simply do not have the resources to handle storms like this.

I've been dreaming of the beach and sand for weeks now. I can't stand this anymore. Granted it's winter in NY, but it's not just the snow. It's these frigid temperatures too. I've never been more ready for Spring.
