So we hired a trainer!-update
Thanks to all the recommendations. we actually went with Best Friends. I know I said I didn't want to use the collar, but Mitch has become out of control and after doing my research and meeting with a few trainers, it really seemed like the best option for him. we opted to do the in home since we already have another dog, and Mitch really needs to learn how to be a good brother to him.
Derek came by on Saturday and gave us a ton of info as well as info on the breed. He thinks that Mitch is 100% pit.
That night Mitch ate a part of our wall and molding! He has yet to do anything like this, but we only had him 1 week, so thankfully we are starting this Wednesday!!
Thanks again to everyone for all the FM's and recommendations!
*update* THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! 1 session and my dog is calm and behaving!!! best money EVER spent!!!!
